Delivery
TERRITORIAL AREA:
The website www.kare.pt allows you to order products for delivery within mainland Portugal and the Islands. For other locations where KARE is not available, please contact us at info@kare.pt or 210964478.
When placing your order, you will be asked to provide a delivery address. You can choose to have it delivered wherever you want.
DELIVERY FEES:
When you place your order, the shipping costs are displayed simultaneously. The delivery fee is indicated for all orders under 1500 euros. If your order exceeds 1500 euros, shipping is free.
For small items, they can be sent by courier, or you can collect them for free at our Campo de Ourique store.
Please note that at the Campo de Ourique store, we only provide the space as a Pickup Point for small items.
Exchanges, returns, complaints, credit notes, gift cards, or vouchers cannot be processed for items purchased via the website and vice versa.
For small shipments via courier, delivery costs start at €7.50, depending on the weight of the order and the delivery method chosen before finalizing your order.
These costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of the item, the choice of carrier, and the need for special packaging for shipment, in order to provide the most fair rate. For each order, we use the most competitive service provider that best suits the nature of the goods being transported.
DELIVERY TIMES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS USED:
The delivery time is indicated on each product page. In case of additional delays due to the temporary unavailability of a product, we will inform you before confirming the order.
We choose our transport service providers based on their experience and professionalism: Chronopost/DPD, CTT Expresso for small items, and specialized carriers for larger and more fragile products.
DELIVERY CONDITIONS FOR SMALL ITEMS SENT BY COURIER:
Orders are delivered to the address provided in your order or to the pickup point. All our orders are delivered against a signature.
If you are absent at the time of delivery, depending on the contracted courier, a delivery notice will be left in your mailbox, and your order will be waiting for you at the post office, or you will be contacted again. You must then collect it within the time specified in the delivery notice; otherwise, you will have to pay for the reshipping of the order if it is returned to KARE.PT headquarters, and we will need to send it to you again. The same applies in the case of an incorrect delivery address.
DELIVERY CONDITIONS FOR ORDERS SHIPPED BY PRIVATE CARRIER:
Orders are generally delivered within 2 to 3 weeks. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) to the address provided in your order, during business hours. For Saturday morning deliveries, please contact us before placing your order (additional delivery costs apply). The carrier will call or contact you via SMS to arrange a delivery day with you.
Please ensure before placing your order that the ordered products can pass through the door, stairs, or elevator if you have one. Don’t forget to specify any useful information for the courier in your order: the building number, any codes in case of secure access, a narrow access road... The courier is not contractually obligated to bring the order inside your home but rather to the lobby of your building or in front of your house if it’s a standalone house. This is a door-to-door service.
In the case of large and/or heavy items, it is strongly recommended that you arrange for assistance from a third party to carry your goods from the threshold of your home or building into the interior of your house.

DELIVERY SERVICES FOR THE AZORES AND MADEIRA ISLANDS
Delivery services with or without assembly to the islands will only be calculated after the customer's order is registered on the website www.kare.pt and will subsequently be presented to the customer, who may maintain or cancel their order within 24 hours after this contact.
The amounts listed for delivery services with or without assembly at the time of order are not valid for the islands. The customer should await contact from KARE after registering their online order to confirm the applicable charges for the islands.

CHECK YOUR DELIVERY:
Since our items are carefully packaged, we encounter few problems when the packages are received at our customers' premises. Upon receiving or picking up an order, it is your responsibility to check the condition, quantity, and conformity of the delivered products. If you have any doubts about the condition or contents of your order, you must inspect the condition of the received goods and issue specific, dated, and signed reservations, or REFUSE THE PACKAGE.
IF THE PRODUCT IS DAMAGED, OR IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO RECEIVE THE PRODUCT, REFUSE THE DELIVERY BY WRITING 'DAMAGED PRODUCT' (specify which product it is: TV cabinet, dresser, shoe rack, etc.), AND DESCRIBE THE DAMAGE IN DETAIL ON THE DELIVERY NOTE.
Any claim regarding a damaged product or manufacturing defect must be sent by email to info@kare.pt with a description and photos of the issue. It is strongly advised to keep the invoice and the original packaging of the product, as well as all its accessories, instructions, etc., in case the product needs to be returned to us.
IN CASE OF DELIVERY BY COURIER:
If the package shows visible signs of opening and/or damage, you should refuse it and inform customer service at info@kare.pt or by calling 210964478.
IN CASE OF DELIVERY BY PRIVATE CARRIER:
Our orders are delivered on non-returnable pallets, which reduces the risk of damage. Before signing the Delivery Note and thus accepting the package, you should check the condition of the package and your product. In case of any anomalies or damage, clearly specify them on the Delivery Note with precise, dated, and signed reservations.
In the case of VISIBLE DAMAGE, you must clearly express your reservations on the delivery note. The mention 'subject to unpacking or confirmation' does not constitute a valid reservation and has no LEGAL VALUE. It is essential to accurately describe the condition of the package and/or your product (e.g., package open, package damaged, crushed... in the bottom right corner, on the left side... damaged corner, broken glass), and if possible, take a photo.
Please note the following: The condition of your product is considered checked upon signing the Delivery Note. If your product is damaged and you do not wish to keep it, you must refuse the package and note a reservation on the delivery note (package refused for being open or damaged, specify the damage in detail).
Products are considered accepted by the customer at the time of delivery if no reservations are indicated, and no claims can be made by Trendier By The Second Lda, the representative of KARE, against the carrier. Adhering to this procedure allows for a quick resolution of delivery issues.

With the LuxiDeliver Service, the customer benefits from personalized attention, scheduling of the service day and time window, assembly, and recycling of KARE packaging. Simple, hassle-free, and worry-free!
The customer does not need to make any effort in handling the products, assembly, or dealing with packaging waste; they only need to ensure that the space is clear and unobstructed to receive our products.
Our specialized technicians arrive at the scheduled time, equipped with all necessary protective measures, including gloves, shoe covers, and masks. They place the products in the desired location, assemble them, and handle the recycling of the packaging.
In case of any issues, simply describe the occurrence in detail on the Delivery Note, and our technicians will take the item back if you do not wish to keep it, so it can be replaced later.
This service does not include the installation of lamps, mirrors, pictures, or other items that require drilling into walls or other surfaces. In such cases, please contact us at 210964478 or email info@kare.pt.
